Don't Add or Subtract - You are never to add to, change or subtract from God's Word.
False Teachers - God's Word warns us of false teachers.

From God - The Bible is from God, not a creation of man.
Not of Men - God's Word is not from man.

You may hear a Seventh Day Adventist say this about Judgment:

  • Any person with sin remaining will be taken out of the Book of Life.

Logical Answers to Consider:
All Justified - If you have faith in Jesus, you are completely justified.
By Faith - Your name is in the Book of Life by faith in Jesus.
By His Grace - You are in the Book of Life only by God’s grace.
God Forgets - God forgets the sins of those who are His own.
God Forgives - God forgives the repentant sinner.
Jesus Forgives - Jesus forgives the sins of those who come to Him in faith.
Mercy Promised - Mercy is promised to those who come to the Lord in faith.
  • God is judging all by their works, by the standard of God’s Law. All those whose lives fail to measure up to the standard of the Law are rejected and condemned as not having true faith.

All Guilty - You are already guilty before God.
By Faith - You are saved by faith in Jesus.
Law Condemns - The law and commandments condemn man.
None Good - No one does 'good' to God's standard.
Not Works - No amount of good works or law keeping can be enough to earn salvation.

You may hear a Seventh Day Adventist say this about Salvation:

  • You will not be saved unless you observe all of the Commandments.

Logical Answers to Consider:
All Guilty - You are already guilty before God.
By Faith - You are saved by faith in Jesus.
Confess Jesus - There is no reason to wait; confession is simple.
God's Gift - Salvation is a gift of God.
Law Condemns - The law and commandments condemn man.
Live By Grace - Jesus' death allows us to live by God's grace.
Must Do - There is one thing every person “must do” to be saved.
None Good - No one does 'good' to God's standard.
Not Works - No amount of good works or law keeping can be enough to earn salvation.
  • In the future, the mark of the beast will be Sunday-keeping.

The mark of the beast is physical mark, not Sunday-keeping.

You may hear a Seventh Day Adventist say this about Jesus and His death:

  • Satan will bear the guilt of all the sins of believers.
