You may hear a Humanist say this about the Nature of Man and Life:
Nothing is inherently good or evil, so I don’t believe there is anything as sin.
Logical Answers to Consider:
All Guilty - Without Jesus, everyone is guilty before God.
All Sin - The Bible tells us that all of us have sinned.
Good and Evil - The Bible tells us of good and the evil of sin.
Jesus Paid - Jesus paid for our sins, so clearly, sin exists.
List of Sin - The Bible gives us a list of sins to judge ourselves.
Sin Declared - God declares sin exists and what it is.
I can’t live the “Christian life” and I will not be a hypocrite.
By Faith - The Christian life is lived by faith in Jesus.
By His Grace - Christians live by God's grace.
God Gives Escape - God gives His believers an escape from a life of sin.
God Keeps - It is not in your own power, but God that keeps His believers.
Not Works - Salvation is not of your own doing, or works.
Sure - You can know your salvation is sure.
If God did a miracle and I saw it, then I would believe.
If I believed, my friends would leave me.
You should not listen to the ungodly. God can provide you with new friends, and you will not be ashamed.
I cannot forgive someone for the wrongs they did to me in the past.
God gives us the example of forgiveness by forgiving each of us so much.
You may hear a Humanist say this about Man's Purpose or Mission:
What will God do to me after I accept Jesus as my Lord and Savior?
Logical Answers to Consider:
All Justified - If you have faith in Jesus, you are completely justified.
Changed Life - God will give you a changed life.
Future Change - God promises His believers a future change.
God Forgives - God forgives the repentant sinner.
Have Peace - You can have peace through Jesus Christ.
Jesus Forgives - Jesus forgives those that come to Him in faith.
Even if I got saved, I’d be the same old failure.
