Must Do - There is one thing every person “must do” to be saved.
No Changing - There is no changing your future after you have died.
Own Belief - Your fate before God is based on your own faith.
Two Paths - There are only two paths for you after you die.
  • We use symbols as aids in worship.

God curses those who make images. Using images mean you hate God.
  • The priest can forgive you of your sins if you confess them and do penance.

God Forgives - It is God that forgives the repentant sinner.
Jesus Forgives - Jesus forgives those that come to Him in faith.
Jesus Intercessor - Jesus is the only intercessor between God and man.
Not Works - There is nothing you do to earn forgiveness.

You may hear a Catholic say this about Salvation:

  • Only Catholics can be saved.

Logical Answers to Consider:
  • No one knows if they are going to heaven.

  • You must be baptized to be saved.

By Faith - You are saved by faith in Jesus.
Not Works - There is nothing you can do to earn salvation.
Simple - God has made salvation simple.

You may hear a Catholic say this about Heaven and Hell:

  • You can’t know for sure if you will go to heaven, hell or purgatory.

  • You may spend time in purgatory to pay for some of your sins.
